Finally Feel Good Friday

Howdy!

So the key saga continues... because I went home yesterday right after the show to give my husband his truck key I made the decision to leave my old puppy Sadie in the house and Sacha our young puppy outside in her kennel. Big mistake. Sadie hasn't been left inside a home by herself in 7+ years because she has separation anxiety and because we have had more than one dog since forever and I forgot about her separation anxiety until I was painfully reminded last night... The sliding glass door and screen door to our deck was destroyed. $$$ to fix this mess. Sadie lost her best bud Sonic last week and this week Mom locked her inside by herself and she freaked out.

Please visit The Humane Sonciety website for details on how to deal with dogs with separation anxiety:

As you are out and about this weekend if you stop by the Lester River Rendevoux have a wonderful time it is Saturday from 10-5 and you can take the train to 61st ave e. Have fun!

Thanks for listening and have a great weekend. Talk to you soon!

Verne Wagner and the Dr. Phil Challenge!

This morning, Liz and I were able to have Verne Wagner on the show. Verne is participating in Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss Race which you can catch every Wednesday at 3p on Channel 6. Verne and his son Patrick were picked out of a group of over 16,000 people to be a part of this once in a lifetime experience. Verne is also doing this "race" for a good cause, our local Red Cross. There are two places you can find out more about Verne and Patrick's journey.

Another good thing to come out of this, Verne has sparked my interest in getting back to working out on a regular basis. Since taking my new position here at KTCO, I've kinda fallen off the workout bandwagon. I'm even going to try to go workout alongside Verne and Patrick a few days a week and hopefully become more healthy and fit right alongside them! Maybe that way, I can get more of the inside scoop on this experience! Stay tuned............

Also, since this is my first blog, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for listening. :) Feel free to use the emails on this page and let us know about community events or to just reach out and say hey-o!!

Mousey Tuesday

Hello!
Wow! What an exciting show this morning. Having a 3rd mouse run into our studio in 6 days was over the top for me! Yikes! Men in the building have decided regular traps are not being effective and have gone to the sticky traps... I hate those. Just kill the mice without the torture. Quick and painless... I definitely do not want to walk into the studio tomorrow morning and see a pair (or more) of brown eyes looking up at me in pain. Yikes again.

Johnny Lee Walker is going to call me this afternoon and offer me up a plan of attack on our furry friend(s). Stay tuned!

How do you think our first week in the morning went? I'm so glad to be back on KTCO and look forward to all our crazy adventures. Talk to you soon!
